Unmanned Vehicles Wireless Solutions
Avalon RF has various solutions for Unmanned Vehicles. The preferred solution depends on factors such as type of ground installation, power available on the vehicle, antenna size and operating frequencies etc. The solutions below cater to most common applications but please call us for any specific requirements not seen here.
Short Range Wireless Links
The GS-S-15 / GS-L-15 and the TX630 / TX530-3 (with optional 1W datalink) is suitable for wireless video links up to about 10 miles.
Medium Range Wireless Links
The GS-S-20 / GS-L-18 and the TX630 / TX530-3 (with optional 1W datalink) is an efficient solution for wireless video links up to about 20 miles.
Long Range Wireless Links
The GS-S-20 / GS-L-18 and the TX623/TX523-3 (with optional 3W datalink) with the PA-6 is a good solution for wireless video links to over 50 miles. This solution is best suited for medium size UAV's with moderate power on board.
Avalon RF has other solutions for higher power amplifiers that are better suited to UAV's with small engines and/ or high dc power on board.
